I’m an ex-pat Canadian who’s been cooking in restaurants, hotels, and as a private chef since 1993. Formally trained in Chicago, I left the Montreal restaurant scene in 2001 to begin private chefing in Paris. Apart from a brief time running my own little restaurant in the south of France, I returned to my preferred realm of cooking, which is for private dinners in and around Paris.
I belong to the family of chefs who are passionate about cooking which follows nature’s seasons, and strive to use only the best of what’s locally available. There are no test tubes, syringes nor calcium chloride baths in my kitchen, but I do innovate and work at perfecting traditional gastronomy with the intention of bringing the most pleasure possible from the plate to your palate.
Whatever your needs for a formal lunch or dinner, we can work out a menu together to satisfy you and your guests, or you can choose from my menu options presented on this site.
Why not call a caterer instead of a private chef? Caterers can be cheaper, as they deal in high volume, but they produce all their food in an impersonal central location, and then deliver each dish already prepared or cooked, leaving you in charge of reheating and serving. My private chefing service allows you to customize each menu to every detail you wish. I arrive at your residence a few hours before your guests and prepare everything in your kitchen from scratch. If you prefer to remain at the table with your guests during the service, the professional waiters I work with will ensure a flawless table service for an additional charge.
